I have a "zero waste" challenge in my art practice. I recycle and re-purpose paper from my dream paintings, collages and printmaking to use in my cyanotypes, Often the paper has paint or ink on it already. I use scraps scavenged from junk mail, discarded books, print shop waste and thrift store finds. If one side doesn't work, I use the other side. After the sun exposure, I paint and draw on top of them. They are framed in simple frames under glass or on wood that I rescue from construction waste.
